The Office of Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) is hosting our ‘Influencing the New Generations’ event, in celebration of Black History month.
The event will provide an opportunity for black children (from years 9 to 13) to engage in activities which will develop their leadership and life skills, support their career choices and enable them to meet and network with their peers from other schools. Students will have the opportunity to attend sessions delivered by our guest speakers from Precious Lives and Stop and Search. Students will also choose two sessions to attend from the following:
- Leadership
- Careers/Education
- Life Skills
- Lifestyle/Well-being
Please register your attendance using on Eventbrite by Friday, 9 October 2026.
The OPCC is committed to reducing serious youth violence through opportunities which encourage positive youth engagement. This event is the first of its kind and promises to be informative, thought-provoking and inspirational.
