About Routes Dudley

This service is an easy to access, youth friendly space at Merry Hill shopping centre in Dudley, which allows young people to get help at the earliest opportunity.

Routes Dudley is an advice hub and space for young people to turn to when they experience challenges or adversity in their day-to-day lives, our team aims to empower young people to reach their potential, no matter their circumstances.

What is available at Routes?

– Open door to walk in without an appointment to access information, advice and guidance (Tuesday to Friday 3.00pm-7.00pm, Saturday 10.00am- 2.00pm)

– Access to onsite clubs and skills groups (board games, gaming, arts)

– Support/specialist services on site

– Wellbeing coaches to achieve short-term goals

– Drug and alcohol support and poor impulse control programme

– Emotional health and wellbeing boosting activities and support

– Signposting and onward referral

– Timetable of other support/specialist services available to drop-in and see a worker

– Drop-in sessions

Walk-in timings Support Services

Monday:
Targeted groups. Here4YOUth Poor impulse control programme (booking required through walk-in)

Tuesday:
10:00am to 11:00am: Here4YOUth If you’re worried about your child’s drug or alcohol use, come meet a worker

3:00pm to 7:00pm: Walk in for advice and support

3:00pm to 5:00pm: Here4YOUth drug and alcohol support
– Come and talk to a substance use worker to answer any questions or access further support

3:00pm to 7:00pm: Brook Sexual and Wellbeing Services
– Brook nurse available for STI testing and advice

Wednesday:
3:00pm to 5:00pm School Nurses Team
– You can talk with a nurse if you have any general health concerns

3.00pm to 7.00pm: Walk in for advice and support

Thursdays:
3:00pm to 7:00pm: Reflexions Mental Health Support Team.
– Meet a worker to answer any questions you might have around your mental health

Thursday: 3:00pm to 7:00pm: Walk in for advice and support

Friday:
3:00pm to 5:00pm: Job centre Plus
– You can speak to a jobs coach for advice around universal credit or if your looking for support with your CV

3.00pm to 7.00pm: Walk in for advice and support

Saturday:

10.00am to 4:00pm: Walk in for advice and support

2:00pm – 4:00pm: Rainbrow Group
– LGBT+ friendly peer led safe space
– Every 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month
