Beavers, Cubs, Scouts – 7th Dudley

The Scouts UK, also known as The Scout Association, is the largest national Scout organisation in Europe. It aims to actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society.

The Scouts UK provides activities to hundreds of thousands of young people aged 4-25 in the UK with over 141,659 adult leaders. The organisation is divided into various sections, each catering to different age groups. These include Squirrel Scout Dreys, Beaver Scout Colonies, Cub Scout Packs, Scout Troops, Explorer Scout Units, and Scout Networks.

Scouts UK offers a wide range of activities and badges that allow a young person to master something they love or try something new. They also run high-quality community impact projects. Despite COVID-19 restrictions stopping Scouts meeting face-to-face for part of the year, 30% of Scouts took part in a community impact activity at least once a term. This shows the resilience and commitment of Scout leaders and their positive impact on the community.
