For the attention of all young people aged 13 -17 – Would you like to be a Police Cadet?
18+? Become a Volunteer Cadet Leader!

The Police Cadet scheme provides excellent opportunities for young people. Most Cadet units are based in schools and colleges, making it a very accessible place for young people to attend.

We have 20 Units across the West Midlands Police force area with 2 up and running here in Dudley.

We currently have 2 Cadet units running in the area who meet on a weekly basis during term time.
1DY are based at Broadway Campus, Dudley College, Dudley
2DY are based at Pedmore School, Stourbridge
3DY is currently being set up in Crestwood School, Kingswinford

There will be a great mix of like-minded young people reflecting the diversity of their local community who will participate in new experiences by:
·       Attending social engagements
·       Learning about British Policing
·       Engaging with specialist Policing Departments
·       Developing life skills
·       Meeting new friends
·       Attending Force-wide events

The Cadet scheme is free of charge to all which also includes the issue of Police Cadet uniform.

If you are 18+, you could join us as a Volunteer Cadet Leader where you will have the chance to guide our Cadets whilst joining in with all of the fun events!
